Each Club Residence at Ki’ama Exuma will be shared collectively among fifteen members. If all members use their residence equally, each will enjoy approximately 3 weeks per year. Because actual usage varies, many members will have the opportunity to spend more time at Ki’ama Exuma through our space availability program. All members will share in the available inventory of all of the Club Residences.
There is no annual day limit on member stays at Ki’ama Exuma. Members will reserve up to twenty-one days of Planned Vacations before each Vacation Year and may add Space-Available Vacations throughout the year as residences allow.
Yes. Ki’ama Exuma is designed so members can reserve time both ashore and at sea during the same stay. Many members may choose to spend one week in their waterfront residence followed by a week aboard the fully crewed sixty-foot yacht, or the reverse.
A rotating priority system will allocate Planned Vacations equitably across the membership group. Each member is assigned an annual priority number that rotates year over year, ensuring everyone has fair access to the most-requested dates over time. The same model has governed luxury residence clubs for more than thirty years.

No. Ki’ama Exuma members do not pay nightly lodging fees for residence stays or charter fees for yacht use. These costs are covered by the annual membership fee. A modest housekeeping fee applies at departure to prepare the residence or yacht for the next arriving member.
The annual membership fee covers the full operating cost of the Club: residence and yacht maintenance, day boat operation, captain and chef payroll, on-island staff, insurance, property tax, utilities, professional management, landscaping, and capital reserves for refurbishment and future yacht replacement. Members pay a single comprehensive fee — no nightly lodging or charter fees apply.
Yes. A post-departure housekeeping fee covers the daily tidy during your stay and the full clean-down to prepare the residence or yacht for the next arriving member. The fee is billed at checkout and is separate from the annual membership fee.
Yachts are replaced on a planned twenty-year cycle. The annual membership fee includes a reserve allocation that funds the difference between the cost of a replacement vessel and the resale value of the retired one. This protects long-term membership value and keeps the fleet current.

Ki’ama Exuma sits on Elizabeth Island in the Exuma Cays of the Bahamas, a 10-minute private water-shuttle ride from George Town on Great Exuma. The Exumas comprise 365 cays stretching across roughly 120 miles of the Bahamian archipelago, known for vanishing sandbars, swimming pigs, Thunderball Grotto off Staniel Cay, and some of the clearest water in the western hemisphere.
Most members arrive via Exuma International Airport (GGT) on Great Exuma. Direct commercial flights serve GGT from Atlanta, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, Toronto, and Nassau, with one-stop connections from most major U.S. and Canadian cities. From the airport, a private Ki’ama car service will shuttle you to the marina, where you will board one of our day boats for the short 10-minute ride to the island.
